signed order blank with an original signature on file. Payment may be made by
MasterCard or Visa, cashiers check, or money order. Please verify the shipping address on the
order blank. In the event you supply us with an incorrect or undeliverable address,
you will be responsible for additional shipping charges.

Our program of constant development necessitates that prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
Furnaces are normally shipped out as soon as possible after we receive payment,
unless you request a delayed shipment. The furnace should reach you in about
3-10 working days from the date of shipment. Freight charges are not included
in our Charmaster furnace prices. Freight charges will be prepaid, and we will add the freight charge to your
furnace order total. The freight carrier we primarily use offers our customers
a 70% discount on freight. Please call us for a freight rate to your area.
When ordering your furnace, provide us with a daytime phone number so the Freight
Company can contact you when your furnace arrives at the freight terminal.
Any changes in shipping addresses once the furnace has left Charmaster will
result in additional freight charges that the customer will be responsible
All of our furnaces are bolted on a pallet and have crating on the top and sides. A U-shaped eye is welded on top of the firebox, which is accessible through the shipping crate. A chain may be used in conjunction with a backhoe or other type of equipment for moving the furnace. A crated furnace will weigh around 750 pounds.
Here are a few examples of how you can take delivery of your furnace:
- Going to a freight terminal for pick up - they will load your furnace in your vehicle for you. This is the most economical means for you to receive a furnace.
- Residential Delivery - the freight company will call you to schedule delivery to be made when you will have unloading assistance on hand. Freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional liftgate fee will apply if the driver unloads the merchandise. The liftgate will bring the furnace from the truck level to the ground level and the driver will set the furnace in the driveway. The customer must request this service prior to delivery. Residential delivery fees and liftgate fees are additional to freight charges.
- Business Delivery - You may wish to have your furnace delivered to your workplace or a local business where unloading equipment may be available. You would not be charged residential delivery fees or liftgate fees.
- Factory Pick Up - all pick-ups at our factory in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, must be charged Minnesota State Sales Tax. This includes out-of-state residents that come into Minnesota for factory pick-up also. This is a State law.
Charmaster has chosen the finest freight lines available. Very seldom do we hear about any damage, but occasionally accidents can happen en route. Your furnace was picked up by the Freight Company in perfect condition. The cartons and crates are designed to insure the best possible protection of the merchandise and were packed with great care.
Charmaster Products, Inc. is not responsible for freight damage on items. Any damages would have occurred during shipment. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect packages immediately in the presence of the delivery driver. Have the delivery driver make a note of any damage on the freight bill before he leaves. Then contact the delivering Freight Company as soon as possible to report any damage or shortage. We are willing to assist you in any way we can in collecting your claim for loss or damage, but Charmaster is not responsible for filing or collecting of damage or shortage claims.
After you receive your furnace, if you are not completely satisfied within 10 days,
you may return the furnace. All returns must be complete, undamaged, unaltered
and in resellable condition. Return freight charges must be prepaid and there
are no refunds on freight. Upon examination of your furnace, we will issue you
a refund, less any damages and a 25% restocking charge.
